Diplo and Winnie Harlow deliver supplies to communities cut off by Hurricane Melissa

November 14, 2025

International stars Diplo and Winnie Harlow are the latest celebrities stepping up to help Jamaica after Hurricane Melissa, launching a joint relief effort that will send boats packed with supplies to communities that were cut off by the storm.

The pair are currently in Parottee, St Elizabeth. The seaside community was one of the areas isolated by raging flood waters and storm damage. Videos show both stars standing among residents as they prepare aid and load supplies.

Their update came in a joint Instagram post.

"Jamaica holds a special place in our hearts. Seeing the island in pain is devastating," Harlow wrote, adding that recovery has only just begun and that many families need urgent help right now. She said Jamaicans are strong and resilient people and that she will do anything to help her family.

Diplo said they were standing at ground zero where much of the destruction happened. He explained that four boats will be delivering supplies to the affected communities through a partnership with the Breds Foundation in Treasure Beach and the disaster response charity CORE Response.

Harlow, whose father is Jamaican described the people as strong and resilient, saying she would do anything to help her "family".
