Masked gunman shoots 64-y-o in Old Harbour

A 64-year-old man is nursing gunshot wounds after he was attacked and shot by a masked gunman in Colbeck district, Old Harbour, St Catherine, on Tuesday night.

Reports are that about 6:45 p.m., the elderly man had just come out of a taxi and went inside a business place along the Colbeck main road when he was ambushed.

The gunman, who was reportedly wearing a mask, opened fire hitting the man in his upper body before escaping on foot.

The injured man was rushed to hospital where he was admitted for treatment.

The Old Harbour police are investigating.
