Just as the knife met the cake and the crowd held its breath to sing happy birthday to Lady Camille, a figure surged through the crowd. It was Danny Links, her brother who had flown all the way from Dallas, Texas, USA, to Richmond Park, St Andrew, to pull off the shocker of the night.

In an instant, the cake cutting took a backseat to pure, unscripted drama as he rushed to his sister’s side, throwing the entire party into a frenzy of screams, and utter disbelief.

“This is one of the best birthdays for me,” Lady Camille later told THE WEEKEND STAR. “Imagine, my brother, travelled all the way from Dallas, Texas, in America, flew all the way to Jamaica to be a part of my birthday celebration. Words alone can’t express what this means to me.”

The theme for her birthday was Chapter 46, but you’d never know it. Decked out in a stunning designer outfit with a smile that lit up every corner of the venue, Lady Camille boasted the looks of a teenager —glowing like a crystal ball. Loved ones engulfed her in tight embraces, lifting their glasses high in a toast to 46 extraordinary years of grace, grit, and unstoppable joy.

DJ Javvy and Franki from Team Toucha Blue, teamed up with guest selectors to hijack the decks. They unleashed an explosive mix of timeless old-school anthems and modern bangers, packing the floor shoulder-to-shoulder before transitioning into a soulful acoustic set that brought down the house.
